
Enyimba FC Has Declared Interest In Signing Odion Ighalo after he ones stated he would love to retire at the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) where he started his career.
Ighalo said if some certain logistics and criteria are met in terms of improving the league he would love to play in the league because there is no place like home after a sojourn away for a while. An official of Enyimba told Match Day talk in a chat, that they are ready to get the striker and with the influence of the chairman Nwankwo Kanu and the manager Stanley Eguma.
Whom he is familiar with, getting him to sign for the best team in the leauge won’t be a problem and would upgrade the league. He will reunite with his former teammate Brown Ideye if everything goes as planned.
According to a staff of the club, his demands are adequate security to be provided on matchdays and good traveling and welfare plans. He further said, “having Ighalo play here is a big boost for the league”. Having other NPFL clubs key into this gesture and lure our professionals back home would be a good market for the local league.
